Enchantment in the Garden

Arts On The Greenway participated in “Enchantment in the Garden” sponsored by the community garden of Mount Holly. AOTG decorated Carol goldens garden box, and the AOTG garden box. Carol’s photography is on sale at Arts On The Greenway and the proceeds are donated to meals on wheels and the CRO.- community relief organization.

Granny Square Christmas Tree Reception at the Pergola

Dottie Scher organized the first event for Arts On The Greenway. It was a 25 foot tall, granny, square Christmas tree, with a large metal bird on top designed by Louise, McLaughlin. Ruth Neely set up the tent and popcorn and hot chocolate booth across from the tree. The mayor, Bryan Hough, and Dottie welcomed everyone to the celebration. Many hands helped crochet the squares for the tree. One individual donated 200 granny squares. The Mt.. Holly maintenance department built and assembled the frame.
